Key Program Objectives:

The core objective of this program is to build a community of elite coaching leaders. The supporting elements of this program include :

Building a mutually supporting community of successful veteran leaders who want to explore careers in professional coaching.
Supporting business development efforts to launch and grow careers in coaching and leadership development.
Providing a program of continuous education and improvement through coaching, training, and mentoring for the development and growth of coaching leaders.

Intended Program Outcomes:

Provide a forum for collaboration, fellowship, continuing education, and thought leadership.
Support and expand business opportunities for veteran coaching and consulting enterprises.
Repurpose successful leaders from the military and special operations community for commensurate opportunities in service to society as elite professional coaches.

FELLOWSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Applicants will identify their desire to be a gold, silver, or bronze fellow and detail their qualifications.

What level of fellowship are you applying for:

Gold Fellowship - 3 year fellowship. All applicants must be graduates of the Ordinary Hero Coaching Certification program.

Silver Fellowship - 1 year fellowship for ICF member coaches.

Bronze Fellowship - 1 year fellowship for Leadership and Organizational Behavior Consultants.

How many years of Military Leader Education do you have?

This includes formal, instruction based programs of leader development. Programs that qualify include service academies, advanced camp, career courses, intermediate level education, command courses, advanced strategy courses, NCO courses of instruction, service schools, and staff colleges.

How many years of Civilian Leadership Education (Non-Military) do you have?

This includes formal, instruction based programs of leader development. This includes degree programs, certifications, and formal courses of instruction in psychology, management, and related humanities or social sciences

How many years of Leadership experience do you have?

For the purpose of this application, leadership experience is defined as having at least one direct report. This should include both military and non-military positions of leadership authority and responsibility.

How many years of Executive Leadership experience do you have?

Executive leadership are those positions at the senior levels in the organization. Executive leadership experience includes O4 and above command, primary staff, or executive officer positions. For non-military organizations, it includes c-suite level titles and positions (for small business and entrepreneurs) as well as primary director or supervisor roles of more than 150 people.
